Papers, 1861-1864.

Diary and letters (1861), biographical material, and photocopies of military records (1864). The diary was written while Sisson served with the 6th Indiana Regiment, and deals with his life as a soldier as well as life on his Uncle's Rush County, Ind. farm. The letters are from Sisson to his uncle as well. Also biographical material about Sisson and his family, and photocopies of 22nd New York Cavalry muster roles and casualty sheets recording his death.
